Chinese Financing for Green Energy May Reach 8 Trillion Yuan, Daily Says

Chinese financing of new energy, emission reduction and environmental protection could reach 8 trillion yuan by 2020, China Daily reported, citing Gao Cailin, director general of the Office of Financial Affairs of Jilin Province.

China may issue yuan-denominated “green bonds” to meet financing demands, Gao said, according to the newspaper.
