Dallas Cowboys Top Forbes List as NFL Values Have First Decline

The National Football League’s 32 teams fell in value by a combined 2 percent last season, the first decline since Forbes began its survey 12 years ago.

The value of 21 teams fell because of lower revenue from sources other than broadcasting due to the worst recession since the 1930s, Forbes said. The average franchise is now worth $1.02 billion, the survey found.
