Sony’s Hirai Sees Tough Tablet PC Market, Handelsblatt Said

Sony Corp. Executive Vice President Kazuo Hirai said he understood 22 companies will shortly bring tablet computers to the market to compete with Apple Inc.’s iPad, Handelsblatt reported, citing an interview.
Hirai said it will soon come down to price wars, and Sony wants to stand apart by offering both content and hardware, Handelsblatt said.
