The U.S. men’s basketball team beat Spain 86-85 in an exhibition game ahead of the FIBA World Championship, the first meeting between the countries since the gold medal game at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Kevin Durant had 25 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots, including two on Spain’s final possession to preserve the victory for the U.S. team in Madrid.
