India hired local law firm FoxMandal Little and France’s Gide Loyrette Nouel to advise on Manganese Ore (India) Ltd.’s initial public offer, according to a partner at the Indian legal firm.

The two firms jointly won the bid by quoting a flat fee of 10.5 million rupees ($225,032), FoxMandal partner Sumes Dewan said yesterday by telephone from New Delhi. Melinda Finch Barwell, communications and marketing manager for Gide in Hong Kong, and marketing manager David Lovell in London didn’t immediately reply to e-mails seeking comment.
