South Africa May Begin Building Refinery in 2012, Bus. Day Says

South Africa may begin building the Mthombo oil refinery at the Coega industrial development zone in the southeast of the country in 2012, Business Day reported, citing the Coega Industrial Development Corp.
The $11 billion project will be completed by 2015, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said today. A government decision on a final study of the project within three months, it said.
