Phil Mickelson said treatments have made him free of pain from psoriatic arthritis, a joint condition that at one time had him questioning whether he’d be able to swing a golf club again.

Mickelson, the second-ranked golfer in the world, enters this week’s U.S. PGA Championship as the favorite among oddsmakers to win the season’s final major tournament.
