Shaquille O’Neal Joins Garnett, Pierce, Rondo on Boston Celtics

Shaquille O’Neal signed with the Boston Celtics, teaming the 15-time National Basketball Association All-Star with Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce on the defending Eastern Conference champions.
“It will be great to be able to call them my teammates,” O’Neal said in an e-mailed statement from the Celtics today. “I can’t wait to get to Boston to get started in pursuit of another championship.”
