Israeli Shellfire Kills Palestinian in Southern Gaza Strip

Israeli forces killed a Palestinian militant in the Gaza Strip and wounded another after the two men approached a border fence separating the Hamas-ruled territory from Israel.
The men were in a group that ignored Israeli warnings early today to stay away from the fence near the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, an Israeli army spokesman said, speaking on condition of anonymity according to military regulations.
