Priceline.com Rises After Forecasts Top Estimates

Priceline.com Inc., the second-biggest online travel agency, rose 16 percent in extended trading after its second-quarter earnings and third-quarter forecast topped analysts’ estimates.
Excluding some costs, earnings will be at least $4.78 a share, the Norwalk, Connecticut-based company said today in a statement. That compares with the $4.18 predicted on average by analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
