British Prime Minister David Cameron said Pakistan must do “even more” to fight terrorism and that he has “no regrets” about comments he made last week that led to anti-British protests in the South Asian country.
“Pakistan, of course, is an important ally of the United Kingdom,” Cameron told BBC local radio today in Birmingham, central England. “But there has been, and there still is, a problem of terror groups in Pakistan that threaten other countries, that threaten also our troops in Afghanistan, threaten India, threaten us here in the U.K., and they need to be dealt with.”
