Air Lease Corp., the five-month old aircraft-leasing company formed by Steven Udvar-Hazy, signed sale-and-leaseback agreements with Air France for six planes, President John Plueger said.
The three used planes -- two single-aisle aircraft, an A319 and an A321, and a widebody A330-200 -- were delivered to Air Lease on June 30, bringing to 15 the number of aircraft the Los Angeles based lessor has in its fleet, Plueger said today in a telephone interview. Two new Airbus A320s are set for delivery in early 2011 and a Boeing 777-300ER is set for delivery later this year, he said.
