Yemen Ambush Leaves 5 Soldiers Dead in East’s Shabwa Province

Five Yemeni soldiers were killed and a sixth injured in an attack on their patrol vehicle in the city of Ataq, in the country’s eastern province of Shabwa.
Al-Qaeda gunmen carried out the attack in coordination with separatists, the director of security in Shabwa, Ahmed Al-Makdashi, said today in a statement.
