Just around the corner from Election Day now. Here are five things I’ll be watching on Tuesday night.
1. Bernard Fraga and Brian Schaffner at Mischiefs of Faction on what early voting says about ethnic turnout in 2018.
2. Idean Salehyan at the Monkey Cage on whether the attack in Pittsburgh was “terrorism” and why it matters.
3. William Adler argues that Trump’s presidency shows the need to rein in the office.
4. Henry J. Farrell and Abraham L. Newman on sanctions on Iran.
5. Amy Walter on the election outlook in the final days.
6. Jessica Taylor reports on the growing consensus in Washington that Democrats will win a House majority.
7. While Sean Trende spells out a plausible Republican House majority.
8. My Bloomberg Opinion colleague Tyler Cowen writes in favor of a larger Harvard. I like that; I also like public policy that would give us more Harvards.
9. And Colby Itkowitz on one of the best 2018 election stories: family feuds.
