Anti-Trump Women Are Still Making News
People gather Saturday for the Women's March in Washington.

It's understandable; after all, there's a government shutdown chewing up a lot of the politics' news slot, and then there are the various Donald Trump stories that are always with us these days. The marchers didn't break any new ground, and they weren't addressing any specific new threat or challenges or really do much to make news, other than the actual marches.
It should have been enough. At least, it should have been a good excuse to make up for how people have mostly missed the story of women mobilizing politically over the last year.
