Poland's President Says Enough Is Enough
The government's illiberal policies are finally meeting resistance.
Duda splits from the party that backed him for the presidency.

He's right. Poland's democratic institutions are under threat, and the new initiative is only the latest of many. The government should weigh this embarrassment carefully, and think again.
