This week, our Masters in Business radio podcast features Charley Ellis, former chairman of the Yale University Investments Office and CFA Institute and one-time director of Vanguard Group. He also is the author of "Winning the Loser’s Game: Timeless Strategies for Successful Investing."

In our talk, Ellis explains how he began his career in the Rockefeller family office after getting an undergraduate degree in art history from Yale and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He went on to start the consulting firm Greenwich Associates, which caters to banks, investment houses and other financial businesses.
