Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- When he was trying to get Congressto pass his health-care law, President Barack Obama repeatedlypromised that people would be able to keep their insurance plansif they liked them. Now that promise is being proved false on adaily basis: Insurance companies are canceling plans across thecountry, often because they don’t comply with Obamacare’sregulations.
Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress have beenrushing to pass legislation that would let people stay in theirinsurance policies -- especially because the law threatens tofine them for not replacing those policies, which is hard to dowhen the federal website where they’re supposed to find areplacement isn’t working.
