Two companies that offer high-encryption e-mail services, Lavabit and Silent Circle, haveannounced they will cease providing it. Foreign firms interestedin cloud computing, widely viewed as tech’s next profit machine,are seriously considering Asian and European providers insteadof U.S. ones.
