Congressional Democrats reacted furiously to President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey, saying it raises serious constitutional issues because the agency is investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election and possible links to Trump’s campaign.
"We know the FBI has been looking into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told reporters Tuesday. "Were these investigations getting too close to home for the president?"
