Donald Trump’s 32% support is up 8% since August, according to CNN/ORC poll.
- Ben Carson in second at 19%, followed by Jeb Bush at 9% and Ted Cruz at 7%
- Others: Mike Huckabee, Scott Walker 5%; rest at 3% or below
- NOTE: National phone poll of 1,012 adults was done Sept. 4-8; it included 930 interviews with registered voters, 474 of whom were self-identified Republicans or Republican-leaning
