Last week’s earnings from Nvidia Corp. did just enough to steady market fears that the AI-fueled rally has run ahead of itself. But as this terminal chart demonstrates, those anxieties eased only after a remarkable runaround. The company’s shares surged once its results came out Wednesday after the market, and then slid all day Thursday, taking the S&P 500 with them. Friday’s partial recovery left the benchmark where it had started Wednesday, but Nvidia remained behind.
