It’s the Fifth of November, when the UK celebrates its own foiled No Kings demonstration — Guy Fawkes was caught in the cellars of Parliament with gunpowder, planning to blow up James I, and the rest is history. In the US, the date marks the restoration of Donald Trump. Twelve months from his election, things are going more smoothly than at one point seemed possible.
