Tariffs are about to get their day in court. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court hears arguments in a case alleging that the levies President Donald Trump imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act were illegal. Two lower courts have already ruled that he did indeed exceed his powers. The president says that “THE MOST IMPORTANT CASE EVER IS IN THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT.”
