Stablecoins Are Tethered to Reality, Even If Tether Isn’t

For a while there, I was kinda thinking stablecoins — the crypto token that’s pegged to the dollar — were just another fad that would go the way of those monkey .jpegs that people paid millions of dollars for just a few years ago. But no! The Bloomberg editorial board says they’re projected to handle more than $50 trillion in annual transactions by 2030, so we might as well get used to seeing them around.
