Last week I wrote about my silly Apple credit card, the must-have titanium objet d’art with no numbers, no tap-to-pay and a nine-point cleaning-and-care checklist. I didn’t suppose I’d ever write or even think much about credit cards again. Until last night, when an out-of-town nephew visited and showed me pictures of a recent trip he took with his partner to Mexico’s Mayan Riviera. There they were, luxuriating in their expansive suite, frolicking in their private beach-side pool, and if they needed anything they could simply call their two butlers — because one is never enough.
