Your Mifepristone Access Is Safe — for Now

For three long days earlier this month and again for about 30 breathless minutes on Thursday, mail-order access to a widely used abortion medication was suspended. Finally, the Supreme Court this week offered a reprieve: Current Food and Drug Administration guidelines for mifepristone must stand while a lawsuit seeking to restrict them plays out in a lower court.
It was an immense relief — for now.
