Can Democrats Win Back the Populist Periphery?

The party has its best chance to do so in years, thanks to rising blue-collar discontent over President Donald Trump’s second term.
“This is probably the single most significant opportunity Democrats will have to make inroads with White, noncollege voters in the last 20 years,” says Mike Smith, president of House Majority PAC, the leading super PAC supporting House Democrats.
