Spirit May Be Gone, But Flyers Still Need a Low-Cost Airline
You’ll miss it when it’s gone.

The collapse of Spirit Airlines doesn’t erase the need for a nationwide low-cost airline.
The market is there. Countless families fly only a few times a year, if that often. They don’t want or need an airline credit card that promises perks tied to frequent flying and spending on extras. They’re not interested in a transportation experience and hanging out at a fancy lounge. They want the cheapest fare so they can spend more on activities once they reach the beach or mountain cabin or family gathering.
