As I watched coverage of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s visit to the US capital, this thought kept coming to mind: That’s it?

Sure, King Charles gave a speech before Congress, and there was a state dinner. But beyond that, the royal visit to DC was underwhelming, forgettable and poorly planned.
