Intel Got a Trump Bump. Now It Has to Capitalize on It.

If you set aside that morning when President Donald Trump called for his head, Lip-Bu Tan, the chief executive officer of Intel Corp., has had a terrific couple of months.
Whether it can be called a Trump bump, or just a validation of Tan’s strategy, will depend somewhat on your own opinions. But it’s certainly a fact that since the White House signaled it would take a 10% stake in America’s storied chipmaker, its fortunes have improved greatly and its shares have risen more than 50%.
