Democrats Are Still Doing Populism Wrong
Wants more money, not more government programs.

That’s not according to Donald Trump, our often-vainglorious billionaire president, or snarky Republicans in Congress. That assertion is the product of polling and focus group data accumulated by Democratic operatives at the Working Class Project, an initiative from the super-PAC American Bridge 21st Century. To help Democrats boost their flagging support among blue-collar voters, the Working Class Project tested competing messages as part of a late August survey of 3,000 such voters across 21 states.
