News that Donald Trump’s re-election forced Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi to flee the Orwellian horrors of Santa Barbara, California for what one assumes is a refugee camp in the English Cotswolds brings to mind the many celebrities who threatened the same over previous Republican wins: Alec Baldwin; Bryan Cranston; Miley Cyrus; Lena Dunham; the world’s greatest ringtone impresario. At least Cher had the good humor to say she was moving to Jupiter. (And I doubt she meant the one in Trump’s Florida.)
