Biden and Congress Deserve Blame for the FDIC’s Scandal

Both Congress and the White House are rightly demanding change at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. after a law firm’s investigation confirmed that the agency’s culture is rife with sexual harassment, discrimination and other misbehavior. They’re a little late.

Signs of management failures were evident long before the report was published last week following a series of similar revelations in the news media. Elected officials were mostly asleep at the wheel.
