It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since the infamous Tarte Dubai trip, but my TikTok feed this weekend was co-opted by a group of rambunctious, glowy-skinned influencers in Bora Bora, so I guess the Kosé-owned makeup company is doing it again. It flew everyone to an island on a private jet with one request: that they document everything — with uncreative hashtags, of course. There were high-altitude caviar bumps. Obnoxious big heads. Tours of personal villas. Perilous activities like swimming with sharks. And don’t forget the life-sized concealer mascot drunkenly parading about.
