Some stories just keep giving. Prime among them is the Sherlock Holmes tale Silver Blaze. It’s about the theft of a racehorse and the murder of its trainer in mysterious circumstances. Holmes sorts everything out, but only after deducing that almost nothing about the scene of the crime was as it seemed.
