You can imagine the alarm in my household when Google announced last week that it was pitching media companies on artificial intelligence tools that would help them produce written news content. As journalists, my husband and I have kept an eye on the burgeoning use of AI in a multitude of industries, knowing that one day, the bells would toll for us. Thanks, dear, and yes, I will take another glass of wine.
