Things are looking up. Last week’s US inflation numbers were genuinely good, as I laid out in this video made with my Bloomberg Opinion colleagues, and arrested a sharp rise in bond yields. The main stock market indexes continue to set highs not seen since the spring of 2022, when the inflation scare was taking shape.
