Most laypeople learned everything they know about oil production from Daniel Plainview in “There Will Be Blood.” And in the roughest possible sense, “DRRAAAAIIINNAAGE!” does sort of sum up the movement of crude around the world. But it’s fiendishly more complicated than just drinking the Bandy tract’s milkshake.
