Bonus season is upon us, and lots of lucky Wall Streeters are getting some chunky pay packets.

Compensation hasn’t swelled this much at U.S. investment banks since the late 2000s. Manhattan bankers are already splashing out on $2,000 bottles of wine and luxury yachts.
