It’s Hard to Deny It Was Elon Musk’s Year

He rules Twitter, the EV market and the commercial space race. Where can Time’s Person of the Year even go in 2022?

Last week, Time revealed its “Person of the Year.” 2021, of course, has been a year in which humanity has suffered from the brutal effects of an ongoing pandemic, supply-chain crisis and climate change.

The person they chose? “Clown, genius, edgelord, visionary, industrialist, showman, cad” Elon Musk for “creating solutions to an existential crisis, for embodying the possibilities and the perils of the age of tech titans, for driving society’s most daring and disruptive transformations.”
