Will they or won’t they?
If schools open, will they make students mask up? If more companies want workers in the office, will they have to be vaccinated? If the show goes on, will audiences demand exemptions? The rise of the delta variant is prompting even places with abundant vaccines to rethink what it will take to reopen safely. (Spoiler alert: Getting the shot is huge no matter what.) Still, it’s reasonable to wonder: Are trade-offs inevitable? Or will new rules lead to new freedoms?
