McLaren Supercars Have Some Very Wealthy Superfans

It says something about McLaren Group’s unfortunate predicament that some of the defining moments in its recent history have happened in a courtroom, rather than on the racetrack.
McLaren’s lawyers filed a petition in June warning that the company would run out of money if bondholders prevented it from mortgaging trophy assets, including its Norman Foster-designed British headquarters.
