Ever since Attorney General William Barr released the “principal conclusions” of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, Democrats have been bracing — or is it hoping? — for a cover-up.
Despite Barr’s promise to release the report by mid-April, Democratic leaders in Congress have issued an April 2 deadline. Representative Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, says Barr should ask for court approval for the release of grand jury information. “Redactions are unacceptable,” he tweeted.
