My usual role around here is to tell you about interesting financial things that have happened, or to argue that boring financial things that have happened are actually interesting, or at least to make fun of dumb financial things that have happened. Occasionally though, we indulge in a bit of speculative fiction and talk about how nice it would be if some really interesting financial thing had happened, even though it didn’t.
