In a meeting at the White House late yesterday afternoon with students and parents who have endured school shootings, including the recent murders in Parkland, Florida, President Donald Trump advocated making teachers part of the solution.

“If you had a teacher with -- who was adept at firearms, they could very well end the attack very quickly,” the president said. “We’re going to be looking at that very strongly.”
