Summer Treats That Blend Sour and Sweet

All summer days are sweet. But the sweetest days of all are those when things turn sour.

I refer, of course, to that blessed season -- July, here in homey old Plant Hardiness Zone 7 A --when tart fruit comes into season. Blackberries, sour cherries, purple raspberries … cobblers and cakes and pies … full bellies and blissful smiles.
