This week on Masters in Business we speak with Michael Lewis, author of such classics as “Liar’s Poker,” "Moneyball,” “The Big Short,” “Flash Boys” and the just-published “The Undoing Project” (see my review here).

Lewis, formerly a bond trader at Salomon Brothers, wrote his first book, “Liar’s Poker,” in 1989 with the expectation that it would serve as an admonition to aspiring Wall Streeters. Instead, generations of readers have turned to it as a guide for how to get a start in finance. Lewis recounts his transition from bond trader to author, discusses where his ideas come from and elaborates on his writing process.
