Jan. 22 (Bloomberg) -- It’s hard to know sometimes which isthe greater threat to prosperity -- headlong technologicalprogress that’s destroying decent jobs and hollowing out themiddle class, or fading technological progress that’s causingpersistently slow growth. With a little ingenuity, you could nodoubt combine these ideas and worry that technological progressis both too fast and too slow.

On the other hand, you could consider both sets ofarguments and be guardedly optimistic.
