New Sexual Harassment Rules Openly Defy Reason

July 22 (Bloomberg) -- The new federal guidelines for howcolleges should handle sexual-harassment cases aren’t justunreasonable. They’re hostile to reasonableness in principle.

The Justice Department and the Education Department’sOffice for Civil Rights set forth the rules in a letter theysent in May. The letter was addressed to the University ofMontana but says it should serve as “a blueprint for collegesand universities throughout the country.”
